Payment terms
An online booking on our website records your card details, which serve as a guarantee, secure the booked dates, and confirm your acceptance of these general rental conditions. Your card, or another payment method of your choosing, will be charged on arrival (unless you request otherwise). Where a deposit is taken at the time of booking, or for seminars (30%), the balance is requested at the start of the stay.
A €500 security deposit is requested on arrival at the gîtes. It will be refunded within one week of the end of your stay, unless damage or missing items are found.
Cancellation policy
- Any cancellation must be notified to the owner by letter or email.
- More than 60 days before the stay: deposits refunded, minus a €50 administration fee (unless a card imprint was taken at booking, in which case no charge applies).
- Less than 60 days before the stay: the 30% deposit is retained by the owner.
- Less than 15 days before the stay: 100% of the booking amount is retained.
- In the event of a no-show: the full amount is due or will be charged.
If a stay is cut short at the guest's own initiative, the owner is not required to refund any unused nights.
Cancellation insurance
No cancellation insurance is included in our rates. It is the guest's responsibility to take out their own cover if they wish to do so.
Cancellation by the owner
If the owner has to cancel a booking before the stay, the guest will be informed immediately by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt, and any sums already paid will be refunded in full.
Arrival and departure times
Check-in from 5–6pm, depending on the accommodation. Check-out at 11am for the gîtes, midday for the chalet (see each accommodation page for full details).
Pets
Pets are not permitted.
House rules
We ask guests not to smoke inside the bedrooms, and to be mindful of others when sharing communal areas with fellow guests. Guests agree to leave their rooms in good condition at the end of the stay and to report any damage. Children on the property remain the sole responsibility of their parents at all times, particularly around the swimming pool.
La Maison Bleue accepts no liability for loss, theft, damage or injury to property or persons on the premises.
